The Association of Ex-Tablers Clubs

Round Table was started with an upper age limit of 40, but on reaching this age, many ex-Tablers wanted a forum in which to continue in the same spirit. In some places, Rotary was the natural path; in others, 41 Clubs were started, so named because of the age rule.

Controversially, the age limit for RTBI was increased to 45 a few years ago, but 41 Club have retained their original name.

Wotton has a very active 41 Club, and their experience and support is invaluable when we put on large events such as the Fireworks display (well at least that's what we tell them). Round Table and 41 Club are free to attend each others meetings.

41 Club meet (officially) one Wednesday each month in the Star in Wotton. Unofficially, many of them can be found propping up the bar in the Star at most other times!
